Project Description
The development consisted of 30 residential lots and involved the construction of roads, drainage, sewerage, water reticulation and all other essential services. As the project involved the development of an infill site it presented a number of construction challenges given the closeness of the surrounding residential properties. The site also boarded the Bendigo Creek meaning environmental management on-site was of upmost importance. Construction and environmental issues were managed through a detailed construction/environmental plan which had to be approved by the relevant authority.
TPD’s main roll on the project involved managing the civil construction which included; organising service installation (power, telecommunications and gas), scheduling & tendering of works, contract administration, construction auditing and obtaining sign-off from Council and relevant service authorities upon the successful completion of works.
